After 20 years of being part of the alpaca community and sharing our lifestyle with others, we have closed the gates at Alpacas of Somerset Farm. Yelp Reviews

I found Alpacas of Somerset in a local magazine, and decided to call and ask about their tours. Dianna was so kind on the phone and we set up a tour for my young kids for the following weekend. We just got back from our tour with D
ianna, and we are so impressed with their farm! They care so well for their alpacas, and it shows through their docile behavior. My kids (4.5 and 2) loved this hands on experience, and we all learned so much! The surrounding area is gorgeous too and fun for a weekend roadtrip. We highly recommend giving them a call and setting up a fun tour!

My family was visiting the area for Christmas break and was looking for something to do around our vacation rental house. Thanks to Yelp, we found this farm and scheduled a tour! Calling and setting up the tour was extremely easy! Once we arrived, we were greeted by Diana who was so sweet through out the entire tour! The tour was absolutely amazing, the alpacas were so sweet and everyone was so engaged. Even my two year old daughter was in awe, and didn't want to leave the alpacas. The adorable dogs and cat was also a great bonus to the tour. I can't believe there's people as generous as Diana to do these tours for free, taking time out of her day just to entertain people. Of course even though she doesn't charge, please please please have cash on hand for a donation as it is very deserved. Probably one of the coolest experience I've had in a while!

My friend took me here for my birthday. The host was incredibly generous and knowledgeable about the history and behaviors of alpacas. Did you know you can rent an alpaca for your wedding? It can be $200+/hr, I believe. Anyway, the doggos at the ranch are SO lovable and all they want is to be petted by you. They're pretty big to be able to protect the alpacas from outside predators. They separate the males, females, and mothers/babies in different areas. Warrior, Dreamy, and Moral (I think that's the new boy addition to the group) are my favorite ones for specific reasons. Overall, there's plenty of alpacas to love, they're not aggressive at all, LOVELY host (she has some goodies to sell! Don't forget to take a look before you exit), and adorable dogs/cat. If you get the opportunity, I definitely suggest visiting this location.
