Once again, we thought we were done with chicks for the year and the White Crested Kalij pheasant pair decided to hatch their own. They are pretty cute to watch and man they are fast!

We had an amazing first year raising peafowl, successfully incubating and hatching 11 beautiful peachicks! Today, the last two of the season went off to their new homes. 🦚💚

If you were on our peachick list this year but didn’t get one, you’ll automatically be at the top of our list for 2027. If you weren’t on the list but would like peachicks next year, be sure to let us know!

Here are a few of the beautiful colors we hatched this year. 🦚✨

Rain, you can go now—we are good. 🌧️☔️

Luckily, we are not in a flood area, but it’s definitely having its effects on the birds. Lots of mud and standing water. Everything is manageable for us right now, but we hope the rest of the week takes it easy on us.

On the bright side, the ducks are living their best life! 🦆😂

Prayers to everyone displaced and affected by the flooding. 🙏❤️
