It all began May 5th, 1995 when my wife and I purchased the Sportsmans Bar and Grill in Somerset WI. That is when the conception and development of our homemade Bloody Mary began. Over the past several years, we have been selling our mix in any type of container we could find. We realized it was time to git-er on the shelves when customers were driving 50 miles just to have their friends try the f

amous Sportsmans Bloody Mary. What was the name going to be? What type of container should we use? What about label and designs? The container, label and name were a byproduct of how we sold it for the past 17 years (any ol’ way that got the job done). So what better than a milk carton, orange juice cap and some duct tape? The Sportsmans Redneck Juice was born. Whether you’re sitting on the back deck, tailgating before the big game, or heading out to the cabin for the weekend, a bottle of Sportsman’s Redneck Juice Bloody Mary Mix is sure to delight. Our Story

How does a small-town bar in Somerset, Wisconsin win national recognition and the praise of Bloody Mary bloggers around the world? By putting flavor first and letting the rest take care of itself. It all began May 5th, 1995 when my wife and I purchased the Sportsman’s Bar and Grill in Somerset, WI. Over the years we developed and perfected our family recipe to the delight of our customers. Soon, people wanted to buy it by the gallon instead of by the glass. We realized it was time to git-er on the shelves when customers were driving 50 miles just to have their friends try “the famous Sportsman’s Bloody Mary.”

What was the name going to be? What about the logo? Our brand is a byproduct of how we sold it over the years (an empty bottle with a duct tape label). Why not embrace our Wisconsin roots? Sportsman’s Redneck Juice Bloody Mary was born. We are very proud of our delicious blend of tomatoes, seasonings, and our top secret ingredients. And we should be! Over the years, Sportsman’s Redneck Juice Bloody Mary Mix earned over 40 awards, including Platinum Medals and Consumers’ Choice Awards from the SIP Awards, Platinum Medals from The Drunken Tomato Awards, Gold Medals from the American Masters of Taste, and more.
