A beautiful Sunday afternoon, and I think the hay makining season is going to last 6 months this year, because of all the rain delays

The backwoods fest had some weather challenges this year, but as always, met some great people throughout the weekend. Thanks to everyone that came to see us. And thanks to all the previous customers that came by to say hello.
Thanks everyone.

Never let a little rain damper. Your enthusiasm for adding a long horn skull for your house👍😉

This is what I found Labor day morning, 🤦‍♂️. This one definitely cannot pass the IQ test.

The Backwoods Fest is Sept 18, only 4 weeks away and we still have a couple Texas Longhorn skulls to finish up before then.😲 🤦‍♂️.... We'll be ready!👍

Well, found a stupid (red) mylar balloon when checking the fence around the next paddock we moved cattle into. The 3rd one this year.😡 Every balloon that goes up, eventually, comes down, and becomes someone else's trash. Whether they land in a hay field or a in pasture, I dont mind picking them up. The problem is, if the cattle find it before we do. The balloons are shiny, and crunchy, and like a little child the cattle are curious and they chew on the balloon and potentially eat them. If they eat them, it can get twisted and stuck in their rumen and potentially kill the animal. 🤷‍♂️ Make better choices

Working on integrating the Angus herd with a few more colors. 😅
