We are open to the public each Saturday in October. Our hours are 10 - 4. Admission is $10 per person and kids under school age get in free.
Admission includes cow milking, hay ride, petting zoo, a huge slide, hay jump, fishing, egg gathering, corn pit, hay jump, hay maze, playground, horse drawn wagon ride, sling shot station, roping station, dressing a scarecrow, and more.
We also have pony rides and horse rides for an additional price.
Pumpkin prices vary based on size.
We have home cooking available for purchase! Cornbread, pintos, greens, bbq, pear relish, burgers, nachos, and more.
And visit Lollie's Sweet Shop for homemade goodies!

Teachers, if you don't want to have an Easter Egg Hunt at school, book a field trip to the farm. Two weeks before Easter we offer egg hunts and the children get to have the experience of coloring their own farm egg along with the other spring activities which include: milking a real cow, going to the petting zoo and meeting the animals up close, gathering eggs, pony rides, fishing, hay ride, horse drawn wagon ride, corn pit, play ground with 2 big slides and learning about planting seed which is a hands on activity at the seed station. For older children we have the egg candling station but you have to request this station in advance.

Today ended our field trips for the fall. We would like to thank everyone who came to "Down on the Farm" this year. A great big shout out "THANK YOU" to our workers. We couldn't have done it without you! Spring field trips start March 26 and go through May. If you would like to book a field trip for the spring just let us know. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year!
Tomorrow is our first day to open to the public. The pintos are on and I will cook the greens and cornbread in the morning. Steve has the butts smoking and Regina has lots of home made sweet coming too. It is worth the trip just to eat lunch.

Our first field trip of the season was a success. Thank you Arab Primary School. We had 8 kindergarten classes today and they were great. Looking forward to seeing the other kindergarten classes in a few weeks.

Our last field trip was June 21. Now the work begins! Mowing, hay baling, gardening, canning, freezing. The fun part is enjoying our family and especially having more time with our grandchildren!
