The music was beautiful, but my favorite part was looking around the room. People from different backgrounds, singing, smiling, and feeling it all together.

We crossed borders through music. Whatever is happening politically around the world, everyone is welcome here. There’s always room here to sit together, share chai, and become friends. ❤️

Alone this Diwali? New to the area? No plans? Then come celebrate with us!

I’ve spent many Diwalis alone too, so I know what that feels like. And if there’s one thing I want Dosti & Chai to be, it’s a place where no one has to feel alone.

So let’s dress up, order some good food, sit together, eat, laugh, and hopefully make some new dosts!

We can split the cost of dinner or everyone can pay for their own food. We’ll figure that part out together. That’s not what matters.

What matters is having somewhere to go and people to celebrate with.

You don’t have to know anyone. Just show up, and we’ll take it from there.

It was such a joy to have Disha Mathur at Dosti & Chai. She’s written a beautiful book, “Maya Loves the Sun” for children. But honestly, adults will love it too. Something we should read as adults to remind us, to be kind. She did a reading that had all of us in the room quietly listening to her.

We have copies at Dosti, so take a look when you stop by and help us support her work. Keep an eye out,

We’re so excited to welcome the Sips Transition crew to Dosti & Chai!

On Thursday , October 22, they’ll be joining us behind the counter, learning how to make chai and getting some hands on experience.

We would love for our community to come out, order a chai, say hello, and cheer them on!

A husband reached out with a special, last minute request: celebrating his wife’s birthday at Dosti & Chai.

On a Monday night, 15 friends came together for chai and chocolate sampling, cake, and time to celebrate her.

I’m so glad we could make room for this sweet evening. Thank you for letting us be a small part of her special day.

Diwali is all about light, laughter, and coming together, and we’re making it extra special for our little dosts!

Join us at Dosti & Chai on Sunday, November 1st, from 4–7 PM for an afternoon of Diwali fun with some wonderful local businesses!

🪔 Dosti & Chai – Bringing everyone together to celebrate the festival of lights!

🍕 Prima Pizza Kitchen – Pizza from one of our local favorites!

🎨 Mini Mini Puri – Fun crafts and activities, plus a take home box!

🖌️ Aura by Shivangi – Face painting available!

🧶 Colors and Crochet by Sharmilee Raje – Joining us as a vendor!

We’ll also have outdoor rangoli and diya lighting after sunset!

$25 per child includes pizza, dessert, drinks, crafts, and activities.

Parents are welcome to purchase chai, snacks, and pizza while the kids enjoy the festivities.
