Ok….I am a bit smitten with these brassicas. Cabbage head the size of my noggin’ and the most gorg broccoli head. I have failed twice in the brassica dep’t (thanks to freezing weather) so third time is a charm! Persistence is key and also learning from mistakes. Cheers!

Garden update veggie loving friends! I believe that all is planted that needs to be planted at this time. We will do succession planting of squash because of the squash bug challenge we had last year. I’ve added some great beneficial plants this year so hopefully that will combat the bugs. We shall see! Stay tuned for an opening date….
We are still closed at this point.

Busy busy time here at the farm!

Back from the PNW and it’s back to reality. Plant plant plant! This week, we have planted peppers, eggplants, cucumbers, beans (both bush and pole), flowers, herbs and squash. Feels good to have things in the ground! Going to be a good season…. I can feel it! What are you planting folks?

Someone stopped by our farm stand yesterday and found that we aren’t open quite yet. I hope to be open around June 1st……I will put signs out on the road when we open up! Sorry for the inconvenience to the person that stopped!

I’m in WA at the moment. Whit is tending the garden and doing a dang fine job! Ventured out to TJ’ with my very own TJ. He was very serious about his first trip in a buggy!
