Well that’s a wrap! The 2026 Mini Jersey Virtual Cattle Show has ended and we took home two belt buckles for Tin Stone Bluebird and Apple Hill Zeus.

Zeus, or Zeusey or Zuzu as we call him, took home 1st in the mature bull category! He is almost 4 years old and has sired 5 Mini Jersey calves. He loves helping raise the babies.

Congratulations to the bulls over 1 year old! First place goes to Apple Hill Zeus, bred by Apple Hill, and owned by Megan Borbon of Naranjo Hills Farm. The second-place bull is BWTA Ranch Tucker, bred and owned by Kyla Shay of BWTA Ranch, FL.

One month of this little guy. We have named him Naranjo Hills Nightingale (Gale). His dam’s name is Bluebird and we wanted to stick with the 🐦 theme. Nightingales are small birds in which the males are the ones that sing the melodic tunes 🎶. Plus, Gale was a character in the Hunger Games, where Mockingjays were fictional birds that symbolized rebellion. We saved all the other great name suggestions for future Birdie calves!
