The Donum Estate Where land, w**e, and art converge. Donum crafts site-expressive w**es through regenerative organic farming and is home to The Donum Collection of art.

Donum is a leader in single-vineyard, single-appellation Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Their terroir-driven w**es reflect the energy and complexity of some of the most celebrated AVAs in Northern California, including Carneros, Russian River Valley and Anderson Valley. Founded in 2001, the Donum Estate is located in the acclaimed w**e region of Carneros. The Estate includes a w**emaking facility, a contemporary hospitality experience, an organic farm and one of the largest accessible private sculpture collections in the world – The Donum Collection. With more than 50 monumental works of art, the evolving collection brings together a global community of artists and leading practitioners from 18 nations across 6 continents, including Ai Weiwei, Ghada Amer, Doug Aitken, Lynda Benglis, Louise Bourgeois, Keith Haring and Subodh Gupta.

We are pleased to welcome Doug Aitken’s ‘Spirit Animal (P-22) (II)’ (2025) to The Donum Collection.

Inspired by California’s famed mountain lion P-22, the sculpture is crafted from reclaimed materials gathered from the urban environment, exploring the relationship between nature and modern life.

Situated next to the pond at the Estate, the sculpture marks Aitken’s second work to join The Donum Collection, alongside ‘Sonic Mountain (Sonoma)’ (2019).

A record olive harvest at The Donum Estate.

This year, we harvested approximately 14,000 pounds of olives, our highest-yielding olive harvest to date. Yesterday, the olives made their way to a local mill, where they will be pressed to produce our 2026 Estate Olive Oil.
