A look at the jewel of the Delta, Evangelho Vineyard. This vineyard faces constant threat of development but we promised Frank Evangelho, when he sold us the vineyard that we would protect it as fiercely as he did when he was the custodian of this singular place. It makes wines unlike anyplace in the world.

Winter is such a beautiful time of year and even though the vines are dormant everything is buzzing with activity. Sheep have arrived and are grazing, pruning is getting finished and diverse cover crops reach toward the sun while feeding the soil and increasing microbiology. 🎥 .castro_

We had such a great day hosting folks from all over the globe today for the Old Vine Conference in conjunction with Historic Vineyard Society and ZAP! First stop was Bedrock for a Sonoma Valley tasting featuring Biale, Bucklin, Once&Future, Stewart Cellars, Turley and Vanderkamp. Then to Geyserville to visit Ridge and walk Whitton Ranch followed by a walk of the great Jackass Hill Vineyard with the Martinelli family. Captured by .castro_
