Had the most spectacular lunch in Volterra today. This all vegan restaurant had it all; atmosphere, flavor, service, soul, history and beautiful presentation. Enrico, the owner’s love of fine food and the rebirth of our relationship with nature shined through with every dish, pour and smile. They have a wonderful boutique hotel and villa in the village too that serves breakfast in your room. This place is not to be missed if in Tuscany. We cannot wait to go back! 😋🇮🇹❤️🍷

Head in the clouds? No, in Italia, they prefer head in the cypress. We discovered this amazing little village of artists in the heart of Chianti, ‘Borgo di Contemporary Arte’ in Pievaciata - a village against hunting - worth a visit if in this region. ✌️

Been waiting a long time to get to - a vegetarian BnB in Umbria run by and his lovely wife Malu, an incredible chef from Brazil, set on top of a mountain with glorious 360 degree views. Alberto and his wife bought this property with one ruin on it in the 80’s at the time and built it into a what it is today with their own hands. Every detail considered with love which you feel the second you step foot on this property. We cannot wait to go back! 🍷❤️🇮🇹😋

Stumbled across this fully vegan gem of a restaurant run by the most lovely couple in Arezzo, Tuscany - .bistrot - They recommended a vegan wine made by two vegan sisters, that paired beautifully with the authentic Italian fare lovingly prepared from family recipes. Our bellies and hearts were full after a few belly scratches for the neighbor’s dog Rocco too. ❤️😬🥰🐶🍷🍝

I moved to Sonoma a few years ago and started this page in the hopes to inspire chefs in the wine country to get on board with the wonderful world of vegan cuisine. Here is one of the World's most amazing places for organic, farm-fresh ingredients, food innovation, and natural beauty. Yet, it remains out-of-touch with the plant-based movement taking place around the world in the 21st century.
