Our final featured anniversary wine is the 2015 Red.

A true homage to old Sonoma. Crafted like the field blends that were common in Sonoma before Prohibition, several small lots were hand selected and combined to form a wine that is a throwback to an earlier style of winemaking. This wine is smooth and loaded with layers of flavor.

The blend is: 42% Pinot Noir, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Mourvèdre, 9% Grenache, 4% Merlot, 2% Syrah, 1% Malbec, 1% Cabernet Franc.

Join us in the Tasting Lounge September 21–30 to enjoy this final wine in our 10-year anniversary lineup. This wine is a fitting conclusion to our month-long journey through the 2015 vintage an a celebration of 10 years of pouring our collection of wineries on the Sonoma Plaza.

As our anniversary celebration continues, the next featured wine is the 2015 Texture Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.

The 2015 vintage brought an unexpected gift, allowing us to source fruit from three distinctive Sonoma County vineyards: Laguna Vineyard, Lancel Creek, and Lucky Well. The result is a Chardonnay of richness and balance, beautifully reflective of its vineyard origins.

Continuing our month-long anniversary celebration, our next featured wine is the 2015 Repris Left Bank, our estate winery at Moon Mountain Vineyard.

This distinguished blend reflects our pursuit of Old World elegance balanced with New World concentration. Composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc, the two varietals create a natural symmetry: Cabernet Sauvignon contributing structure and firm tannins, while the Cabernet Franc adds richness and layered complexity.

We are excited to begin our month-long anniversary celebration with the 2015 Pangloss Cellars Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon. This will be the first wine in a special series of featured wines from the 2015 vintage across our family of wineries.

Crafted with a small amount of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, this wine has aged gracefully, maintaining remarkable depth and complexity. Aromas of black currant, vanilla, and baking spices rise from the glass, leading into a palate framed by soft, approachable tannins that taper into a long, elegant finish. Notes of to***co, brandied cherry, and caramelized oak round out this beautifully matured expression.

With a recommended cellaring window of 8–10 years, this vintage is showing at its peak.

Join us in the Tasting Lounge September 1–7 as we open this first wine in our 10-year anniversary lineup, dedicated to celebrating a decade of sharing our wines on the Sonoma Plaza.

This September, we’re celebrating a decade in our Sonoma Plaza Tasting Lounge with a special cellar series. Each week, we’ll feature a 2015 vintage from Pangloss Cellars, Repris and Texture. This is a rare opportunity to revisit these beautifully aged wines as we honor 10 years on the Sonoma Plaza.

Every Friday (starting next week), we’ll announce the featured wine for the following week, so you can plan your visit and celebrate alongside us. 🍷

Our newly released 2022 Moon Mountain District Cabernet Franc is already a team favorite. Here's what our Membership & Marketing Coordinator, John, has to say:

"I love our Cabernet Franc because I naturally gravitate toward earthier Pinot Noirs, so enjoying that same rich, earthy character in a wine with Cabernet Franc’s bolder structure is truly amazing.

On the nose, this wine offers aromas of underripe blackberry and a subtle honeyed richness. On the palate, notes of green to***co leaf and ripe raspberry are layered with a hint of white pepper warmth.

An ideal pairing for me is grilled lamb chops, with plenty of garlic, of course!"
