BARGETTO WINERY is a third generation family owned and operated winery that was established in 1933 on the banks of Soquel Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We specialize in producing award winning, cool-climate varietals like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Grigio which are carefully nurtured at our Regan estate vineyard as well as other varietals from other Santa Cruz Mountains vineyards. We

also offer a large selection of wines such as Rosé of Syrah and Zinfandel from other regions of California. In addition to offering red and white wines, BARGETTO WINERY is also home to the CHAUCER'S CELLARS brand which offers a variety of honey meads. Visit us at our winery location in Soquel or at our Monterey tasting room in the heart of Cannery Row. Both locations are open 7 days a week and offer friendly and knowledgable service. We have many special events throughout the year at both tasting rooms so be sure to check out our event calendar. In addition to hosting events for the general public, BARGETTO WINERY is a great place for weddings and private events. We have a dedicated private events department that will make sure your special event is fabulous!

A little change to our Soquel Tasting Room hours this Monday! 🍷

Our Bargetto Winery family is taking some time to celebrate together at our annual Company Picnic!

Because of the picnic, our Soquel Tasting Room will close early on Monday, August 17.
Last tasting: 2:00 PM | Doors close at 3:30 PM

Our Monterey Tasting Room on Cannery Row will remain open from 12–6 PM, so if you're planning a wine stop that day, we'll see you in Monterey!

Thank you for understanding as our family and team take a little time to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the people who make Bargetto special. ❤️

Join us for Bargetto Winery’s Wine Club Summer Celebration on Saturday, September 5, for an afternoon of wine, music, great food, and a little island spirit at our Soquel tasting room creekside courtyard.

From 12:30–3 PM, enjoy:

An evening of wine, cuisine & conversation. 🍷

Join Bargetto Winery at Scopazzi’s Restaurant & Lounge in beautiful Boulder Creek for an unforgettable Winemakers Dinner on Thursday, August 20.

Featuring winemaker Keegan Mayo, the evening begins with a sparkling wine reception at 6 PM, followed by a thoughtfully prepared five-course dinner paired with six Bargetto wines from Monterey and the Santa Cruz Mountains.

From Maryland Blue Point Oysters and marinated celery root with shrimp to dry-rubbed venison loin and chocolate ganache cake, each course is paired with a Bargetto wine selected to compliment the dish.

🍇 Meet Gabe, one of the fifth generation of the Bargetto family!

This summer, Gabe traded the city for the vineyard, spending his June internship at Regan Estate Vineyard learning what it takes to grow premium wine grapes. A senior at St. Ignatius High School and a standout soccer player, he also enjoyed plenty of World Cup conversations with Uncle John along the way. ⚽🍷

To wrap up his internship, Gabe put the finishing touches on our historic barrel room by staining the barrels—helping prepare the space for the many weddings, celebrations, memorials, and special gatherings held here each year.

We're proud to see the next generation carrying on the family tradition. Great job, Gabe! 👏
