The Honeycrisp are coming along nicely, although we're finding apples with frost damage. If you're looking for something to do tomorrow, we'll be hand thinning the Honeycrisp to remove these damaged apples as well as smaller clusters that won't develop well.
Planning on starting around 10am. We'll have brats, hotdogs, and chips for lunch as well as plenty of water to drink throughout the day.
Anyone who volunteers to help will get first notification and priority for sweetcorn and apples when they're ready. If interested, text your name to me at 815-703-2870.
Here's an example of apples that we'll be removing from the trees...
Thanks in advance!
