Introducing our line-up for South Bend Farmers' Market this weekend.
By request, tuna and sweetcorn pie is back, as are Bakewell Tarts (both Cherry and Lemon) and my favorite.. Custard Slices. We will also have Harry Potter Butterbeer. I've also drawn a few more greetings cards.
Thanks for another hectic week. It's always a surprise as to how many people come to the market specifically to see us. Always grateful for the tremendous support. All the best!!

Thank you for another tremendous week, despite the horrible weather.
This week sees the start of The Shakespeare Festival at Notre Dame. Thanks to the kind folks in charge, we have been extremely busy making our Shakespeare Shortbread for the event. The Scottish Play runs from August 18-30. Hope you get a chance to attend as it’s top-class entertainment. But if you can’t, we will have William Shortbread at the market.

That being said, I will never get tired of saying that it’s the conversation, all the laughs and all the stories that is the true highlight of our little business. It’s ridiculous really… I could never have imagined having people from all over the world come specifically to a small market stall in South Bend. Thank you!!

Last week was really tough for many reasons. But your support was just the best.
I sent a big Thank You note to The Hilton Garden Inn as they had rewarded their employees in a great way… South Bend Farmers’ Market gift certificates. For small businesses such as ours this is just fantastic!!
Another highlight was the visit to the market by the kids from La Casa De Amistad. This was an outstanding group of very young entrepreneurs who came to learn and laugh. All the very best for your sale on Tuesday, and I hope you sell everything!!

Happy Independence Day!!
I must thank you once again for your very generous support of our business. This week was quite a challenge given the brutal conditions; reminded me very much of my time in the Middle East. But just like there, it’s the people, the great conversations, the stories and best of all… the laughs that create special memories. Thanks for that.

Thank YOU for your generous support and the great conversations. It's always lovely, as it is surprising, when we are visited by folks who are in town maybe only once a year and the quote "I've been thinking about this shortbread every day for the past year" certainly made me smile.

Thanks to your tremendous support we are selling out every week. We have made more treats this week, but it was a bit of a challenge as I went to Chicago to see some British Bands and to watch the England game in a British pub.

We had many requests to make more Chicken Tikka Pies, so we have done that.
