Lots of issues in process with my health but I'm still enduring and making sure my little herd is healthy, happy and making us continuing forward.

I decided to just bite the bullet and have both my hands done with bilateral laparoscopic carpal Tunnel surgery, I'm not a patient type and I definitely don't have the time or patience to do the waiting between one and the other... I definitely did more than my surgeon recommended for recovery but again, I'm not patient. I'm working towards using hoof trimmers, doing one handed syringe draws for jugular blood testing and praying that my hands are working enough for the two impending does that are bred in the case that they need a bit of help.

I'd really appreciate good thoughts and some prayers for my little herd that I can continue keeping them happy and healthy while I can continue caring for my husband and myself ❤️

Due to dealing with carpal tunnel, which has worsened over the last year, I've been struggling to do more than the basics to keep my goats happy
I will be having surgery done on both hands that will hopefully bring relief from the constant ache and tingling as well as the strength I've lost.
Due to this, I have decided to breed just two does, due a couple months apart so I can ease back into milking and because it's a bit easier to market a few kids compared to a herd of kids.
Dollys Acre KH Tickle My Fancy (2nd F) and Dollys Acre DL Dream of Hope (1stF) have been bred to *B Gibson Farm JL Ralph
Fancy is confirmed for a March 27 due date and Hope for June 5th (unconfirmed)

My herd is healthy and happy, because I choose to keep a closed herd, I think I'm part of the few who have more heart involved and I've been dealing with the losses involved with catering to the individual goats that have contributed to my success, age catches up with critters too fast ☹️
I have a handful of my goats who are in double digit years and have been retired for some time, they're currently living the best life I can possibly give them.
I have 2 breedings planned for next April
Dollys Acre KH Tickle my Fancy (2nd F)
Dollys Acre DL Dream of Hope (1st F)
Both will be paired with *B Gibson Farm Ralph

I have chosen to cater to my own personal needs for the milk my girls give for mine and my husband's everyday use, I have 2 reliable customers for their personal milk needs, unfortunately I simply cannot support my goats on kid sales and milk needs.
As much as I want to breed my young does to see if they are better than their dams, I can't gamble on whether the kids produced will be sold and help with hay costs I'm at a cross road so I'll be giving up date for spring kids once I can get my thoughts together
