💥‼️ Exciting News UPDATE ‼️💥 Our online store (for both our farm locations) is now open for FRESH PRODUCE orders, raw local HONEY, & spring vegetable GARDENING TRAYS!

Orders placed before 2pm Thursday can be scheduled for pick up at VonThun Farms, Washington NJ between 12 - 5pm this Saturday. Washington orders for next week and moving forward will be available for pickup on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

Our South Brunswick online store is NOW OPEN for fresh produce orders & spring vegetable gardening packs!

We have 3 produce pack options & trays of cool season garden plants ready for planting now.

To guarantee your order for Friday pick up, orders must be placed by noon Wednesday. Additional Produce Packs will be available on a first come basis, but must be pre-ordered via the online store.

The CSA concept is simple - sign up before the program starts and get a basket full of fresh picked produce each week throughout the season.

We have 3 veggie basket share sizes to choose from, as well as farm fresh egg, Jersey Fresh fruit, and homegrown all-natural, pasture raised Angus beef shares.

Interested in local all-natural grassfed beef? Get your orders in now & don't miss out! We've got 5, 10, & 20 lb. packs available, as well as soup bones (great for making soup & bone broth!) There's raw local honey available too!

Local grassfed beef is not typical supermarket beef. Our beef is raised naturally without hormones that are often characteristic of store bought beef. And our steers are finished on grass in pastures, not grain in feedlots like many commercially raised cattle.

Yes, our beef is priced higher than supermarket beef ... raising cattle on grass rather than grain and raising cattle until they are naturally mature rather than using hormone implants takes longer and costs more. And in return, all-natural, grassfed beef is much HEALTHIER than commercially raised beef.

Stick with us as a CSA member until 2022 & there's a good chance your apples will come from these newly planted trees! Yup ... it'll take that long for the trees to start producing & the first crop will be limited, but we can't wait!

Worried about where to get your food these days? Have you thought about joining our weekly veggie basket program (aka "CSA" share)? This may be the time to give it a try.

Weekly shares can be picked up at our farm in SO. BRUNSWICK or at one of our host sites in E. BRUNSWICK, EDISON, ENGLISHTOWN, HELMETTA, HIGHLAND PARK, METUCHEN, MILLTOWN, RUTGERS, or SPOTSWOOD. Each week you'll have a basket labeled with your name, so you can just pick it up & go ... super quick & simple!

As your local farmers, we're going full throttle to get the season started, & we'll be there for you! We're on track for a full season of fresh local deliciousness, ready to feed our local community!

Our veggie basket shares include:
-->20 weeks of fresh picked, homegrown veggies (starting in June) -- usually 5-7 items per week, pre-packed, starting in June
-->Weekly recipes
-->A Facebook group to share recipes & cooking ideas that will help you learn how to use it all
-->If you choose a larger share, you'll have extra food to can and freeze for the off-season!
-->Option to add on fruit, eggs, & homegrown all-natural Angus beef

How it works:
1. Choose your share types. We recommend starting with the "half" size veggie box. It's what most people get, and it's economical. You can also add a Jersey Fresh fruit, farm fresh egg, or homegrown all-natural grassfed Angus beef share!

2. Choose your weekly pick up site. There are 12 options, all on Wednesdays & Thursdays.

3. Checkout online! You can pay in full, or just leave a deposit for now and make payments at your convenience. Balance is due by June 1.

4. We'll add you to our Facebook group and will be in touch via email, so you'll be all ready for your first basket in early June.

It's a crazy time, isn't it? Supply chains stretched to their limit and a lack of fresh, quality food.
