NEB&W
Since we are no longer open to the public, here is the link directly to the Virtual Tour of our layout (the Rensselaer Model Railroad Society at RPI in Troy, NY):

Enjoy! (And please share.)
If you don't know about our club and layout, the RMRRS was formed back in 1947 and this is our fourth location and layout, started in 1972. We are attempting to model real places from Troy to the Canadian border, all set in 1950, with as much historical accuracy as we can. You can read the name of each scene on the front panel as you go around this tour.
The scale is 1/87, HO scale. You can get lots more info on our page "NEB&W." If we had the $, we'd get a new bare steel-shell building and move the layout so it would be fully accessible to the public, but is still just a pipe dream.
By the way, I came to RPI in Sept. 1968, and joined the club right away. I have been a member even after graduation and continued as an alumni volunteer until the Student Union hired me in 1989, half-a-century. And yes, I still work here.
