CONFESSION:

I didn’t expect this color palette to become a favorite last season.

I’m usually drawn to warm, summery colors, but these dreamy purples, lavenders, and café-au-laits had me stopping in my tracks all season long. I was always coming back for more of them! 🌸 ✂️

They earned their spot back on the farm this year, plus— they’re a total workhorse and pump out the blooms all season long 💜🌸💗

One of my favorite harvests from last dahlia season 🤤🌸

This time of year may look quiet, but behind the scenes I’m working hard to bring even more beautiful dahlias to the farm this season. I’ve added several new varieties to my collection this year and I can’t wait to show them to you guys!

There’s something so special about locally grown flowers, and I’m counting down the days until they’re back in your hands again 🌸

Wrapping up a super productive weekend with a quick little peony harvest with my best bud in tow 🌸

still trying to find my groove this season as a new mom, but what a blessing it is to slow down. These are the days!!! PS- the stroller makes a great flower wagon! 😉

I BROKE THE RULES. ⬇️

Did you know you’re technically not supposed to cut peony blooms for the first 3 years? The idea is to let the roots establish so the plant matures and produces even more blooms in the years ahead. By leaving the plant intact, the foliage can soak up sunlight and send energy back to the roots.

Today, I carefully cut a few itty bitty stems while leaving as much foliage as possible 🌸

Back in November, I planted 300 peonies at 6 months pregnant… so this feels like a pretty sweet reward. 😊🌸

Be honest — would you be able to wait 3 years before cutting your peonies?

How did I go from planting my first seeds… to rocking my baby to sleep?

I’m sitting here rocking my baby, wondering where the time has gone. It feels like just yesterday I started this flower farm right outside my great grandmother’s window at my childhood home.

Now, four years later, I’m an hour and a half away from “home,” stepping into my fifth season of flower farming… and this time, I’m a mom.

As planting season approaches, I can’t help but think back to the excitement of those early days—chasing a dream, growing something from nothing. And somehow, this season feels even more special.

We’re leaning into what we love most this season—dahlias, peonies, and babies 🥰

A new season of flower farming + motherhood is just beginning 🌱

It’s been a while… let’s catch up 🤍

2025 was such a special year for us. We wrapped up our first full season of flower farming in Ada, and it came with so many wins, lessons learned, long hot days—and even some very cold ones as we dug up our dahlias.

In November, I also planted a peony field 🌸 Over 300 peonies and six different varieties are now growing. Peonies have always held a special place in my heart—they were my great grandma’s favorite flower. Being able to honor her legacy through my flower farm means more to me than I can put into words. And this season, I’ll be doing it with my son in tow 🥰

As we head into 2026, I know it will be a year of growth, learning, and pivoting as I step into motherhood. But the flowers aren’t going anywhere—I promise. I’m so excited for a new season, some thoughtful changes to the farm, and continuing to serve our community with high-quality, locally grown flowers 🤍
