OPEN ALL WEEKEND: For many, Labor Day weekend is the last hurrah of summer. We can respect that. I mean, we have pumpkins now, so that really changes the vibes… I get it.

BUT! We also still have peaches, plums, watermelons, corn, tomatoes, peppers, cukes, and the list goes on!! Summer is still hanging on, and if you’re one of those people (🙋🏻‍♀️)who enjoys summer until the solstice, we’re here for you beyond Labor Day.

And if you’re one of those people who look forward to Halloween in June… well, it has begun. 🎃🍎🍩🍁

(Just stay clear of me until September 22nd 🫡)

Still hanging onto summer. 💫

Enjoy these last days of August, folks. There is still plenty left and we’re entering that sweet spot of summer meeting fall with all the local goodies (even if I’m not quite yet ready for most of it). And a reminder, we are open year round now💫

Savannah’s picks of the week:
🍕Berkshire Mountain Bakery Goat cheese pesto pizza (also a fav we’ve been eating a lot lately because it’s delish and so easy to cook!)
🍈 Sugar cubes (which won’t be around much longer cause y’all think it’s fall already and I think the fruit is listening to your thoughts)
🍒 And Gammelgården Creamery cherry almond skyr (picture raspberry maple cause cherry almond sold out 🙃)

Savannah is heading back to UConn to study psychology and we can’t believe she’s been a three year farm stand veteran! She man’s the farm stand register like no one else in the summer months and we are lucky to have her! Maybe you’ll see her for holiday breaks, if we’re lucky 🥳

Like most other local businesses, we’ve lost a lot of our crew as they head back to school, so we are a wee bit short staffed. We appreciate your patience as we transition into the fall months and adjust to new schedules.

Early signs of fall and I am not OK with it! But these are all pretty dang good so I’ll partially accept it. Oh, and just wait…Dan is picking up grapes from Westport Rivers Vineyard today and there are mums coming tmw! Plus pumpkins in the near future... WTHECK. I can’t be the only one not ready for fall?! We do love fall around here, but summer is still here until the solstice, okay?💫

Last batch of chickens for the year are out in the pasture! In the meantime, you can still find our own pasture-raised chicken at the farm stand (until it sells out and we will have other local chicken) 💫
