our company and yours. Customers have told us that they want quality at a good price. We can compete because we buy direct from farms around the country. Our economy is driven by tourism and a 'local taste' is often requested. We support small scale agriculture by purchasing fruit and vegetables from Cape Cod farmers. For 2017 we have increased our local offerings: hand made English muffins from East West Specialties, breads from Nashoba Brook Bakery, and fresh seasonal produce from a dedicated farm on Cape. We are an associate member of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association! The MRA is a trusted not-for-profit trade association committed to the advancement of the food and beverage industry in our state. The MRA helps operators succeed by providing information, education, government advocacy, cost-savings programs, and networking opportunities.

The new crop of Burbank Variety Idaho Russet Potatoes has arrived. 🥔

This specific russet became the standard for commercial french fry production because its naturally low moisture creates a light, fluffy center and crisp exterior. Its russeted skin and distinctive earthy flavor also make it an exceptional baking potato.

A true industry standard, now available for your next order.

Looking back, we may have finalized the redesign a little too soon.

A huge thank-you to the local 4th, 5th and 6th graders who created these incredible drawings of our trucks. We loved the creativity, the details and seeing our fleet through their eyes.

Maybe we should consult them on the next redesign.

Congratulations to Romaine, who has once again lived up to his reputation as one of the most dependable members of the team.

His leadership on the Caesar project remains the standard. He works seamlessly with dressing, Parmesan, and croutons, maintains his composure through service, and never lets the plate down. This month, he also took on additional responsibilities in chopped salads, grilled halves, sandwiches, and burgers.

Dependable under pressure, flexible across departments, and always willing to support the rest of the team, Romaine has more than earned this recognition.

Romaine hearts are available now from Ring Bros. Wholesale in 12-count cases.

Why does California always have great cauliflower?

California’s diverse growing regions provide favorable conditions for cauliflower at different times of the year, helping produce a steady supply of fresh, delicious heads.

• Central Valley
Harvest window: November–December and March–April
Warm days and cooler nights encourage fast growth during the transitional fall and spring seasons.

• Central Coast
Harvest window: April–November
A cooling marine layer helps prevent major heat spikes, protecting this cool-weather crop through the warmer months.

• South-Central Coast
Harvest window: Year-round, with a fall peak
Stable, moderate temperatures support continuous production and especially favorable conditions during fall.

• Desert Region
Harvest window: December–March
Largely frost-free conditions and bright winter sunshine create an excellent environment during California’s cooler months.

Right now, California is within the Central Coast’s April–November harvest window and the South-Central Coast’s year-round harvest window. As summer moves toward fall, the South-Central Coast is also approaching its peak season.

California’s varied climates help growers produce delicious cauliflower with fresh flavor, firm texture, and beautiful, compact heads throughout the year.

Cauliflower is available now at a great price from Ring Bros Wholesale.

Tiny greens, all grown up. 🌱➡️🌿

Microgreens are the young, edible versions of familiar vegetables, herbs and greens. Most go from seed to plate in just 7 to 21 days.

They add fresh flavor, delicate texture and vibrant color, making them a beautiful finishing touch for salads, sandwiches, entrées, cocktails and more.

Their small size can be deceiving. Gram for gram, some microgreens contain up to 40 times the concentration of certain nutrients found in their mature counterparts. The exact difference varies by plant and nutrient.

These and more microgreens are available from Ring Bros. Wholesale.
