Ok not a post that will get much attention but allow me a slight rant!!!
Often times customers will come in with their app open searching for online approval to buy a wine.
What kills me is the scoring mean nothing. This is a very nice inexpensive Gruner Veltliner. Delivers a lot for the price point. 1 3⭐️rating calls it right “great light wine for the summer”
Another 3⭐️rating says “did not like anything about it”

So is three ⭐️good or bad?

The point I am trying to make(painfully) is shop at a store with real wine drinkers and talk to professional an do not rely on Apps to tell you why to drink!

End Rant…. Get outside and enjoy the day!

What a day! We recently had the chance to spend the morning with Jonathan Garcia Lima of exploring the vineyards and tasting through most of his epic lineup. Founded in 1986 but not producing wine until 2006 they are leading the charge for the Tenerife wine revolution. Organic , minimal intervention wines that speak to the volcanic region kissed by salt air. The whites are made from Listan Blanco and retain vibrant acidity and beautiful citrus fruits that are tamed by oak barrel aging. Reds are predominately Listan Negro and are fresh and peppery with tons of minerality and volcanic notes. We have loved the wines for quite some time but to walk the vineyards and touch the vines puts things into a new perspective.
These will be back on our shelves soon so make sure to pick some up an enjoy a little piece of Island Life!

We did one of these a few years ago and it was a lot of fun. I “found” a bottle of 2011 release 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle collecting dust in the cellar and decided to do some good with it.
