C&W Farms We are a family farm involved in corn, soybean and hog production. We love providing a safe food sup

We are a family farm involved in the production of corn, soybeans & hogs. It all started with the Clark family and merged into two families in March of 2010 when Clint Workman married Emily Clark. Our most important goal is to serve God and others in our work of laboring in the fields. Other goals are to make a good crop while being stewards of the earth, water & air, take the best care of the hog

s while they are under our control, and to grow our acres so that our children will be able to join in the family business if/when they decide to. We strive to conduct our business honestly, ethically, faithfully & efficiently. We also want to educate the commuity about the way their food is produced in an effort to offset and correct the negative and untruthful information that is being blasted from so many sources. We certainly don't know everything about everything, but if you have any questions involving how your food is produced, please ask us and we will be able to find answers from experts in that field!

We had an exciting thing happen this morning! We got bees!! In the last couple years we put in a 1/2 acre pollinator plot at our hog barns and one at the house. The one at the house has failed twice, but we are going to try again and we think we know how to make it work next year. For this year we’ll just plant another 1.5 acres of sunflowers that the bees 🐝 (and we) will love! Thankfully we already try to be pollinator friendly around here and have lots of cultivated flowers as well as wild area for the bees to enjoy this year. And no, we aren’t getting into the bee business. These are courtesy of our friend, Dr. Bob Hathcock, who will tend to them. We are just thrilled to get to watch and learn. These are some of God’s most amazing creatures in our opinion! 🐝💛🖤

It was great to sharpen my skills at the communications mini boot camp today! Big thanks to Farm Bureau for the opportunity!

A great day with an even greater group of Tennessee Farm Bureau Women at the Women's Communications Mini Boot Camp 2.0! Thankful for their willingness to grow their skills and strengthen their voices for the future of agriculture.

Milkweed is the only plant that a Monarch caterpillar will eat. We let a small area grow wild with it in our yard that is never mowed or sprayed until butterfly season is long past. With nearby flowering plants to feed the adult butterflies we hope to help sustain their numbers that have been dramatically dwindling for some years. Today Rhett and I counted 10 cats of all different sizes which makes me hope there are more hidden! Do the pollinators a favor and grow native plants! 🐝🦋🐛🩷 Emily Clark Workman Clint Workman
