I’ve been keeping a secret! Don’t worry my husband knows now. 4 years ago a lady had found a chicken in the alley way in the city and she had posted on many groups but no one would claim it(as it’s illegal to have chickens in city limits). So I told her I’d gladly take her, enter Audrey who I had a year and a half and then she died from water belly(look it up). Enter this lady a month ago putting out there she had found a young chicken (no baby fluff) in the alley by her house. She posted on Facebook, no one answered. So she remembered me and messaged me. I wasn’t planning on getting ANY babies (as my hubby said no!), but I couldn’t let her just go. So meet Darla! I think she’s either americauna or an Easter egger. She’s beautiful and so so sweet. She loves to perch on my shoulder or sit on my hand. She’s still too little to put in with the big chickens but she’s rooming next to Alma.
