A couple weeks ago my sweet Waylon had an episode where he basically died, and I was able to revive him back to life. Today I put him and the hens in the barn quick and was walking out to go around and when I came in, he was down again. I picked him up And tried doing what I had done before and to no avail I could not bring him back and he passed away in my arms being told even though he could be mean he was the sweetest of the boys. I hatched him out 4 1/2 years ago, and have raised him since. He did his job and protected my girls from so many predators, and me. I know most will think you’re upset about a silly rooster. But I have a tender heart towards animals and I hand raised this little boy/or should I say a big boy.  and even though he could be mean, he was the sweetest of the boys and he will definitely be missed. I’ll see you on the rainbow bridge Waylon Birdie. 🌈
