I had grown concerned for Moon's health. Her breathing was labored and she had a dry cough. I was thinking the worst and called the vet to come out. When I couldn't see her in the field, I went out to check on her and found her standing over the sweetest little filly I have ever seen. It turns out this 14 year old first-time mama whose previous owners thought she was sterile was just waiting for the right pasture!
