Welcome to Labor Day Weekend! Summer sure went by fast! It looks like we will have a break from the 100-degree weather this Saturday at the Farmers Market. We have treats for the children and plenty of chalk if they would like to design something on the pavement. Sandra with Daylily True B Farm is bringing her Spinning Wheels back to the market to demonstrate how to spin yarn and she will have two for customers to use to try it out. We look forward to seeing you Saturday at the Town Square from 8-12.

Edited to add: Keli Reekes with the Town of South Hill will also be here with her Pop Up. So be sure and stop by to talk to her with any questions or suggestions for the Town.

It looks like we will have another nice day outside at the Farmers Market this Saturday. We have treats for the children and plenty of chalk if they would like to design something on the pavement. Lake Country Area on Aging will have an information booth for seniors. Sandra with Daylily True B Farm is bringing her Spinning Wheels to the market to demonstrate how to spin yarn. There will be two that customers can use to try it out.

Once again, we will be able to use The Exchange Warehouse for the Farmers Market this weekend as the weather was just to iffy and I decided we needed to err on the side of caution for our vendors and customers. So please come out and enjoy staying dry while you do your weekly market shopping. We have treats for the young and young at heart and I will have chalk, crayons and bubbles for the children to do. Welcome to National Farmers Market Day! We have a lot in store for you this Saturday! In honor of National Farmers Market Day, we will be giving away a vendor bag with all the goodies tucked into the pictured Farmers Market bag. Be sure and register before the drawing at 11 and you must be able to pick up your winnings by 12. For the Kids we will have the misting tent set up to cool you off and we will also have free bubbles for the children (while supplies last) along with snacks. I will have chalk available so the kids can draw us their favorite fruits and vegetables or anything that would be on the farm. Dance it Out will have a table with information and teach you Line Dancing while Michelle and Chap entertain us from 10-12. So come and join us for the fun on Saturday morning from 8-12 at the South Hill Town Square at 105 W Danville Street.
