Our Story

In 1986, Martin Maciel borrowed $500 to buy a truck. He loaded the truck with a few boxes of oranges and tomatoes and went to his neighborhood restaurants offering these products. Over the years, through his innate ambition, optimism and hard work, he started his business eventually having his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

In 1991, with little money and a far-reaching dream, he opened Martin Produce, Inc.

Over the decades, his business grew and moved from a small warehouse to a larger facility to be able to continue to serve his customers.

Today, the Maciel family leads a professional management team at Martin Produce, Inc.
