Hoadley Hills Farm We are a small, family-owned, pasture-raised meat and egg farm in South Kent. We raise all our animals out on pasture and rotationally graze them.

We raise pork, chicken, turkey, eggs, and a small amount of beef this upcoming season.

🌱🌾 This is what our pasture looks like right now - already knee high by mid-May! Year over year we’ve seen a massive improvement in the health and quality of our pastures. We credit this improvement to the animal impact our pasture-raised chickens and turkeys have on the fields. We move the birds daily onto a fresh section of pasture, and we plan our seasons so that each patch of pasture only has birds on it for 1 or 2 days out of the season. That piece of pasture gets the rest of the year to rest and recover and absorb the nutrients the birds left behind. This gentle stewardship of the land is one of the regenerative practices we are so proud to use to raise meat for our community.

🪛🔧🗜️🥚🐓 All about our brand new mobile coops for our egg layers! It was a family affair - swipe through and see how many Hoadleys you can spot helping these big ol’ things come together. Our 500 new layers are safe, secure, and moved to fresh pasture DAILY so they can forage for fresh bugs and grass, and to give our pasture time to recover after their impact.

It’s official…. Spring is here!!! ☀️ 🌷 🐥 Chickens are out on pasture. Gearing up for the season’s first Westport Farmers Market May 7 and New Milford Farmers Market is back out on the green May 9. Kent is back in a new location May 22 and Washington is back May 23!

🐥 PEEP 👀 our new brooder!! 800 day old chicks just arrived 😎 Once they are big enough in about two weeks, we will move them into mobile coops with open floors on pasture where we will move them onto fresh ground daily. And of course, they are being raised according to Organic standards, because we are the only Certified Organic livestock producer in the state!

🐣 🌼 🐖 Order the tastiest half ham for Easter!!! Our next home delivery day is this Friday, April 3 just in time for Easter. We also have whole turkeys if a ham isn’t your thang 🦃 Shop our online store - all our products are available for home delivery within 90 miles of the farm, or pick up at indoor New Milford Farmers Market Saturday 9:30-12:30 at St John’s Episcopal Church.

We’re getting our brooder ready to accept our first batch of 800 day old chicks on Monday!
