Our pastured Muscovy and Pekin ducks are laying lovely creamy- white colored eggs. They are larger than chicken eggs, and are especially prized for baking because of their large, rich yolks. Now available each week through The 607 CSA.

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
Sail away, kill off the hours
You belong somewhere you feel free

Run away, find you a lover
Go away somewhere all bright and new
I've seen no other
Who compares with you

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
You belong with your love on your arm
You belong somewhere you feel free

Run away, go find a lover
Run away, let your heart be your guide
You deserve the deepest of cover
You belong in that home by and by

You belong among the wildflowers
You belong somewhere close to me
Far away from your trouble and worries
You belong somewhere you feel free
You belong somewhere you feel free

Thanks, Teri ❤

We sell lots of our eggs through The 607 CSA, a project of Catskills Agrarian Alliance. CAA has other projects, like providing access to land and housing for young and new farmers, and providing food to those who are food insecure through a mutual aid network of organizations both upstate and downstate. I am proud to be a member of the board of CAA, an amazing and farsighted organization doing great work sometimes on a shoestring with all the federal budget cuts under this administration. Our hens are laying like crazy this time of year and we had a bit of a surplus, so we donated them to CAA to put toward the mutual aid network. This is where they went, Heart of Dinner, from their website:

We address food insecurity, social isolation, and loneliness among Asian American older adults living in significantly under‑resourced and underinvested communities.

Every Wednesday, Heart of Dinner delivers hand‑decorated care packages filled with culturally thoughtful meals from local small businesses and handwritten notes of love to 800 Elders across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx. In 2025, we brought this same care to Elders in Los Angeles facing wildfire displacement and crisis.

Each care package is designed to nourish body, heart, and spirit, reminding our Elders that they are loved and deeply seen.

This is how I am celebrating our sesquicentennial, because this is the America I love, each of us looking out for one another, helping to make life better for all.

Delivering love to Asian elders throughout NYC, one meal at a time.

Well, our stone barn bridge/breezeway to the horse barn collapsed this spring. Not that it owed us anything, it was built in 1929 by local guys around here at the time - they signed one of the boards which is just so very cool to have. Needless to say we needed to have it rebuilt, the stone wall had fallen onto the barn wall and would have continued to push against the barn, which is not good. Plus we could no longer get into the upper barn that way, that's where our textile studio and gathering place and (former) farm store is. Thankfully, master stonemason Jane DeWitt and her amazing crew had an opening in their schedule and once the rains stopped they did the job, perfectly. It is stunning, and with proper drainage to ensure it lasts at least another 100 years. Since there is nothing for them to sign, I asked Adirondack Stone Works to make us a stone. Now I need to have Jane stop by and help me figure out where to put it. Thank you Jane, Pete, Yona, Journey, Quinn and Zach for your beautiful work and for adding life to our farm for generations to come.
