The Grill is hosting a new music series called “Back Stage at the NAG.” The first show is a mix of jazz and alternative/grunge in an intimate setting. Tickets are very limited, and still available. David Dee Lou came by today and was surprised to see how big the girls have gotten! He helped get the tall ones away from the greenhouse walls and tied them up to keep them from falling over when the buds bulk up. I had an extra trellis so we stacked a third one on the center row. I hope they are about done growing. 🙏😁

I was worried about a couple of my Banana OG plants. Wasn’t sure if there was some sort of nutrient issue or if it was just a phenotype expression? The other two plants planted in the same area look normal. Her lime green and dark purple colors sure are pretty though. She’s one of the largest plants in the greenhouse so growth obviously hasn’t been an issue. I decided to stop worrying and enjoy her beauty. 🥰

Yesterday we had processed what was left of our flock of freedom ranger chickens. We’re taking a break for the next year from chickens and eggs. Due to the increase of predators we can’t keep them safe enough. We need to come up with funds and a plan for a “chicken fort Knox.” We’ve had issues with bears, hawks, fisher cats, foxes, raccoons, and it seems now coyote too?

I’m still trying to wrap my brain around the DEA defending 🥦🌱.
