The 2026 strawberry season has come to and end and what a season it was. We started with a little video that went a little viral about losing half our crop this year and were unsure what the season would bring.

The first Saturday we we unsure how things would go. We were up against only having half our crop, two large local weddings and the beginning of rec season for a lot of our ice cream kiddos.

To say it was slow was an understatement and I just knew we were done for! I was baking biscuits when a family walked in and stood in front of the kitchen and said “hey I saw a video” and handed me a card. The card is pictured below. I cried and cried. That family had never been to our farm but they came to offer love and prayer and kindness.

That afternoon about 5 hours later my husband walked in from looking at the field and said “The field has so many berries we have to let people in!” And we did……for the remainder of the season we had pickers some days but we were able to offer a little picking the whole season from that day forward. Now it was slim at times but none the less God provided.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love support and kindness shown to our little farm. We felt it all!

This is not over and next year we will come back better than ever!

As for what’s next…..we will re open mid June for ice cream all summer 4-5 days a week with our little crew. Also I may or may not have messed around with blue berry biscuits and they were amazing! Stay tuned to the page for updates!

This sad spot is where we lost most of our berries but today 10 varieties of pumpkins are going in for this fall!!! So exciting! 🎃 🎃
