Some highlights from our construction season! While lesser-known (but equally important) massive pieces of work went on behind the scenes, like massive steel beams to support the rooftop deck and new electrical breakers pulled to support the bar and kitchen appliances, those crucial details are buried inside the walls and never really got photographed. A LOT was touched and updated for safety and convenience since this building hadn’t been in a very long time, and while as a guest you experience all these changes working together in harmony, you don’t necessarily see them.
We do think the visible changes that you could see inside and out go to show how much love was poured into this project. All of the colors, details and design were lovingly overseen and chosen by the owner Alex, hoping she could design a place that encourages creativity, was comfortable for people from all walks of life, and above all strayed far from the industrial look so many commercial spaces have these days. Bringing back original features like the metal ceiling and hardwood floors only add to enhancing what was already there, just simply hidden!
We’ll go into more details of the amazing Joan of Arc mural by Big Wall Sign & Mural | Painted Wallscapes in the next few days, and will put together some of our favorite after photos as well.
