✨ Beyond proud of my dear friend Lizzette Dorado! ✨
Seeing you recognized as one of the 2026 Power Leaders in Philanthropy is truly inspiring and so well deserved.
Lizzette and I go back over 30 years, to the early days of Star Quality Marketing, when I was running the company out of my Bronx apartment in the early 90s. She was one of my very first assistants, helping organize countless promotions and events with brands like Budweiser, Coors Light, Heineken, Corona, Goya, Café Bustelo, Perdue and many more. Those were incredible entrepreneurial days organizing hundreds of supermarket demos and community events every month, and Lizzette was right there helping make it all happen.
She was also part of the exciting New York entertainment scene back then, appearing alongside many of our Star Quality models in music videos connected to the Bronx hip-hop movement with artists like Fat Joe, Big Pun and the legendary Terror Squad, as well as projects involving Marc Anthony.
To see her today serving as Area Executive Director for Eastern Florida & Puerto Rico at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fills my heart with pride.
Life truly comes full circle. As I begin working on my Star Quality Cares initiative focused on giving back, it means even more to see a dear friend leading such meaningful work that helps children and families every day.
Posting this today on the 11th, a number that has always felt powerful and meaningful to both of us, makes this moment even more special.
Your leadership is a beautiful reminder that when we elevate and empower others, we truly make the world a better place. ❤️
