Cool Treats For Charity is a nonprofit mobile pushcart business owned and established in 2013 by Kristen Short and operated by The Short Family in Oxford Hills, Maine. We are celebrating our ninth year "Serving Up Hope...Family Style!"
From our pushcart we take donations for frozen treat items such as Magnum bars, Klondike bars and ice cream sandwiches, Haagen-Dazs vanilla almond bars, Toll Hous
e cookie ice cream sandwiches, Outshine fruit bars, and Healthy Choice fudge bars. We also have Poland Spring water, and depending on the event, we also have a coffee, tea and hot chocolate service available, as well as a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn. Proceeds benefit 501(c)(3) cancer support charity Short Folks For Hope Foundation. We also attend other charity events and help fundraise. Other charitable causes we have supported are:

And more! Invite us to your event - all proceeds benefit charity. Here's how it works:
1. Invite Cool Treats to Charity to your community event, fundraiser or private event and we'll provide the treats and friendly service, and your event patrons make suggested donations for treats. The donations will help cover our product, travel and insurance. Remaining donations will be given to 501(c)(3) cancer support charity Short Folks For Hope Foundation and/or the charity that the event benefits. Sponsor Cool Treats For Charity to come to your business or event and we'll provide the treats and friendly service for your patrons. Your organization will either make a donation to us at the event or prior to it for the projected number of treats to be dispensed at the event, or we will record the actual treats dispensed at the event, and after the event we will bill you for the suggested donation costs of the items plus a small fee to assist with our charity's travel and insurance for the event. Patrons will not be required to make a suggested donation for their frozen treat but may still make a donation in our cart's bin if they wish.
