Thank you Nic Cornelison and Lake Majestik Farms- Registered Brangus and Ultrablack Cattle for providing this beautiful heifer. We are so ecstatic to see what this girl will do in the future. We are thankful for this opportunity and so glad that we were able to give back to the future farmers while doing so!

The SRJBS show committee needs to thank some very special juniors for all their hard work and dedication in helping raise funds in our only fundraiser we have to help support the SE Jr. Brangus Show. This year Lake Majestic Farm, Nic & Chasity Cornelison in Flat Rock, AL donated this tremendous heifer to the junior program. Our juniors was asked to sell "tickets" in our buyers group for a chance to win her at the SBBA Female sale on Saturday, September 25 in Troy, AL. We are so proud to say our juniors raised $18,200.00 and the buyers group won the bid at auction. Wes Moreland with Moreland Farms' ticket was drawn and won the heifer. These following juniors are the driving force to the success of this fundraiser.

To all of our loyal customers and friends:
As most of y'all already know we have sold H and P Meats. However, we will still be able to offer farm fresh meat to all of our customers. We have reserved spots to have our animals harvested and processed. To order meat from us, just contact us through Messenger. As of right now, we are solely doing wholes and halves of beef and pork and whole lambs. We will begin selling meat by the pack at a later date. Stay tuned for all of our deals and adventures on the farm.

To the City of New Hope:

H&P Meats would like to show our appreciation to our mayor, Mark Myers. Recently, it has come to our attention that there has been a smell lingering in our area. Many people have made comments insinuating that it was our faculty. Immediately, Mayor Myers took control of this situation, and later, told us that there was stagnant water near the city park which was causing the smell. He then contacted the EPA, and worked diligently alongside them to make sure that the citizens of New Hope were safe.

We would like to say that the way Mayor Myers handled this type of situation was nothing less than professional. He never once placed the blame on us. His statements to us were always helpful and factual. Mayor Myers has always done everything in his power to make sure that the citizens of New Hope were more than pleased with the area that they live in. To that we, at H&P, would like to say thank you. We appreciate everything you do for our city, and always making the citizens your priority. In conclusion, we back Mayor Mark Myers as he runs for office in this year’s city election!

H&P is proud to announce that our doors will remain open during this trying time for our country. While we feel that the COVID-19 pandemic is very serious, and we are taking every precaution necessary to make sure that our facility is clean, we believe that the general public should have access to fresh farm raised beef and pork. With all of this happening, now more than ever it is important for you to know exactly where your meat is coming from. The USDA has passed a law that the grocery stores do not have to put the country of origin on their labels. When you shop local, you know EXACTLY where your food is coming from. We are still offering fresh beef and pork through our store front. Support your local businesses during this time. Don’t forget to thank a farmer.

Our employees deserve some time off with their families for all of their hard work they put in each day!
