It’s about time for a garden update and sneak peak at what we’ll have at The Bainbridge Farm and Artisan Market this week!
🍎 I have some beautiful apples available this week! More Honeycrisp, Macintosh, and new this week, Cortlands!
🎃we will have pumpkins and squash this week, this will likely be our last week with these! The pesky little squash beetles 🪲 have shown up and are gobbling up the plants fast!
🧅 our onions are done curing and will be available while supplies last!
🥔 we have plenty of red potatoes available right now and I’m hoping to get the remaining bed of taters dug up this coming week!
🍅 we will have cherry/grape tomatoes available. While we still have a fair amount of green tomatoes on the vines these overnight temps are getting a bit risky and could finish off the tomato season if we get too much of that F word 🫣🤫🥶
🥦while the tomatoes may not be impressed with the weather shift our brassicas are loving it! I should have kale and collard greens available for the next several weeks, and despite some harsh bug pressure early in the season might just be able to get some broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage after all! I will keep you posted on those!
🌱I am working on getting some things set up to have some fresh greens available through the winter so stay tuned for more on that as well!
🥚I will also have 2 dozen eggs available this week!
🍁As always I’ll have our maple syrup line up! As a reminder if you would like a gallon jug let me know ahead of time so I can bring it along to the market!
