Parker just celebrated his 6th birthday, and it has us thinking about where this all began. 🍁

Six years ago, we decided learning to make maple syrup would be a fun family project—a way to bridge the quiet months between winter and spring. We had no idea it would become so much more.

Back then, we’d hang a few buckets, strap baby Parker into the carrier, and hike through the woods collecting sap before boiling it outside on our homemade evaporator.

One season led to another. We tapped more trees, upgraded our equipment, expanded to new properties, and what started as a hobby slowly grew into Westchester Maple.

Now that little boy in the carrier is helping us make syrup and teaching his sisters the ropes. Watching the kids grow alongside this dream has been the sweetest part of the journey.

Here’s to the next season. 🍁❤️
