This is 3 days worth of eggs from my breeding pens 🤣 I miss the baskets full of eggs in the Spring 😭. No Marans eggs for over a month!

The only ones laying right now are Olives and Silverudds 😪 The rest are damn free loaders !

Lets talk about something controversial.. Pricing

I have been in this "hobby" for 6 years now and have seen prices of eggs and chicks going up steadily, I have also increased my prices but minimally compared to the current market. But lately seeing what auctions and waff🧇les going for makes me rethink my pricing. I honestly do not know what to even ask if I ever do a Showcase, I know my genetics are worth more than what I am selling them for. Am I a bad business woman? Most definitely am.. but ..Are some just being a tiny bit greedy with this trend?

Unfortunately we had a bear attack last night on my Spots Blushes and Blooms coop , 3 girls are missing and the coop is destroyed. Bears have not been a problem here and we do not have an electric fence. This guy looks huge!
