The Sweeter Side Home based bakery located in Southgate, MI. We make chocolate covered everything! Great for individuals, weddings, baby showers, etc. Order minimum is $25.

We are an independent gourmet bakery ran by a Mother and Daughter team in Southgate, Michigan. We are very passionate and meticulous when it comes to baking. Our Mother was running her gourmet goodies back in 2003, all while raising us 6 children. She was sadly diagnosed with cancer and had to stop doing what she loved, which was baking. Years later, after a long battle (and many requests) I insis

ted she get back into baking and promised I would join her. Now we bake with a mission, we donate a portion of our proceeds to cancer awareness along with local animal shelters. Our bakery is stronger and SWEETER than ever. We specialize in milk/dark/white chocolate covered treats, prefect for the holidays, parties, weddings, baby showers, or any event. We can make your treats in any color chocolate you would like. We hope you enjoy our sweets as much as we have.

Good afternoon! As most of you know, we do this business on the side. This is not a 24 hr/full time business for us, as we are very busy in our personal lives and with our other jobs. Please understand this when you call multiple times and leave multiple messages. We try to get back with everyone as fast as we possibly can, but some days we just don't have the time. Please be patient and keep in mind that we ask for at LEAST a 2 week notice on all orders. We will never go days without giving you a response, but sometimes we also will not be getting back with you the day you contact us. Thank you for understanding and have a great day! :)

Time to start thinking about the next holiday, Easter!

Easter candy from the grocery store is SO overrated, and costly! Treat your family and loved ones to some homemade chocolates and treats this Easter :) We have something for everyone, and our prices are very fair.

This Easter we will be offering the following:
-Chocolate, peanut butter eggs/balls
-Cake balls (spring funfetti, strawberry, lemon, chocolate, carrot cake, banana walnut and vanilla)
-Gourmet pretzels (your choice, caramel or peanut butter)
-Chocolate pretzels
-Brownie bites
-Cookie truffles (Oreo, Lemon Golden Oreo or Nutter Butter)
-Chocolate covered Nutter Butter chicks
-Chocolate covered strawberries

We will be accepting orders for Easter until March 20th. Place yours before we book up!
