Apparently HR is going to have to have a talk with my employees… because Luna and Poppy were caught sleeping on the job today. 😴🐐🐶

While I was busy packing up your Rustic Roost Farm & Soaps orders, printing labels, and making sure everything was wrapped up with love, these two decided the couch was more important than productivity. I guess supervising is exhausting work.

Luna takes her role as “comfort control manager” very seriously, and Poppy believes moral support requires full-body naps. I can’t say I blame them — packing all your amazing orders is hard work around here!

Thank you all so much for keeping us busy and supporting our little farm business. Even if my helpers are on a permanent break, I promise your goodies are packed with care (and probably a little dog hair and goat love 🫶).

The way you check on every goat, make sure the dogs are spoiled, and never hesitate to do the hard, messy, exhausting work — it says so much about the kind of man you are. Compassionate. Steady. Selfless.

As co-owner of Rustic Roost Farm & Soaps, you don’t just “help run a farm” — you pour your whole heart into it. From early mornings to late nights, you show up with integrity and pride in everything you do. The animals trust you. I trust you. And I’m so grateful I get to build this beautiful, wild life alongside you.

Introducing our newest herd member… Poppy 🌸🐐

She arrived with big main-character energy, zero concept of personal space, and the confidence of someone who has never once paid a bill in her life. Within minutes she made herself at home, inspected everyone’s pockets for snacks, and reminded us who really runs this place now.

But honestly… we’re already completely smitten. There’s something so special about welcoming a new little life to the herd — the fresh personality, the tiny hops, the way they somehow steal your heart before you even realize it.

Poppy, we promise you a life full of good hay, warm sunshine, questionable farm decisions, and more love than you could ever imagine. We’re so lucky you’re ours. 💕
