Unfortunately we are noticing some theft in the Farms for the Future Farm Stand. It’s possible people are confused about how our cooperative farm stand works and they’re not paying each farmer individually. The building is shared by 6 local farmers and each table has its own cash box and Venmo QR code. We don’t share costs or profits so shoppers are asked to pay us individually. Last week I was missing 1 bottle of elderberry syrup and this week 1 bottle plus 1 jar of tea. I was expecting to find $55 in my cash box but I found $3 which doesn’t make sense because I don’t have any products at that price. No Venmo payments were received either. If the purchaser reads this please reach out so we can get this straightened out. I do hope that it’s a matter of confusion and people aren’t actually stealing from us. Thank you so everyone who has been honest and continues to support us!

The last of our Elderberry Syrup will be available in the Farms For the Future Farm Stand and local farmers markets while supplies last (which isn’t very much). We will be out of stock through the online FARMACY SHOP till August when berries come back into season. However, we are taking PRE-ORDERS now! Locals, hurry and get your now or you’ll have to wait a few months for the next batch!

We are overly excited about manure! Our new field in Cutchogue is getting its first soil amendment thanks to some local farm animal keepers. High in nitrogen and improving the soil’s structure is the first step in preparing this field for flowers, herbs and of course elderberries! Should out to Big Mike (aka Diesel) for your help.
