Some places are more than landmarks; they hold Southport’s story. The little yellow building and colorful buoys at Potter’s Seafood are part of a Southport fishing tradition dating to 1899.
As the working waterfront changed and other fish houses disappeared, Potter’s endured. Five generations later, it remains a connection to the fishermen, waters, and way of life that helped shape this town.
