a small family farm located in Southside, Alabama. We raise miniature fainting goats. We also have horses, cows and mini donkeys as well as chickens and ducks.
We have recently added a miniature zebu heifer to the menagerie.
Operating as usual
Journey is at Coosa Valley Equine . She choked on feed on Sunday. It was cleared then, but she continued to show symptoms of distress so Blake took her yesterday morning. She will be there another night and hopefully come home tomorrow. If you get a moment say a prayer for this gentle giant.

Urine pregnancy test for the mini zebu girls. Maggie (L) if mid pregnancy according to this. Millie(R) is either early or late pregnancy. I'll repeat them in a month just to be sure.

I think sometimes that the animals know where to come when they are injured or sick. This heron showed up this morning. Injected a few minnows with antibiotics. She's eating food. I'll watch her for a few days before releasing her
I need a black and white image to put on the front pocket of our t shirts. The back will have the Fifty Shades of Hay sign. Which would you choose ? cow, goat, sheep, chicken, donkey, duck or turkey. Feel free to add any other images you think would be cute.

Journey on this glorious Sunday morning
Caleah gave birth to triplets Saturday evening. 2 girls and 1 boy!! Finally breaking our streak of 11 boys . All are healthy and she is a very attentive mom for a first time doe. These are not Fabio's babies, but Winchester's( also his first babies) .

There are a few rules for visiting with us.
1. Be kind to the animals!
2. Don't litter. Not only does is show poor manners but it's dangerous for the animals .
3. If you open a gate , close it behind you.

You cannot fully appreciate Journey's size until you see her next to the other horses. It's a good thing she is sweet!

Elizabeth helped birth baby goats this afternoon. Another 3 boys from Molly
BOYS! Snickers had 3 healthy boys yesterday and Bettylou had 2 boys this morning!
I only get to do a few petting zoos a year. They are all free. What I get in return makes me rich though. Really hope that in 2022 we get to go see some nursing home residents.
