People ask if hybrids are worth the high price tag, and while I’m not sure all of them are, these two definitely are. We have grown them for two seasons, and KA’s Mocha Jake and KA’s Keltie Rose pump out beautiful blooms on strong stems all season long. We’ll have both in our January tuber sale as we are a licensed seller of KA cultivars, and I can’t wait to add more KA cultivars to our collection. Kristine Albrecht - Dahlias 🌸

All remaining ranunculus & anemone corms are now discounted!

We expect to begin shipping ranunculus and anemone corms within the next week, and all remaining corms are now discounted.

All ranunculus and anemone corms we sell are the same high quality varieties that we grow here at the farm.

If you are waiting until spring to plant, just keep your corms in a cool, dry, dark place until then. If you are planning to pre-sprout them indoors to get a jump on growing them (which we highly recommend as they are a cool season flower and prefer cool spring temps), check out our reel on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/reel/CnuVrNuhmbB/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) for a how-to guide on pre-sprouting. All orders will include our ranunculus growing guide with all our tips and tricks for success.

Local pickup is also available. Be sure to select this option at checkout, as the cart may default to shipping.

Week 5 bouquet subscriptions! 🌸 I can’t believe these are our last subscriptions for the year! 😢 With possible frost on the horizon for this week, we have begun fall cleanup, and soon we will be dividing so many dahlia tubers.

Specialty Tulip Bulb Shop is now open!

Happy Fall, Ya’ll! 🍂

In case you missed this announcement in our fall newsletter last week, a limited quantity of specialty tulip bulbs are now available in our shop (https://www.quietsideflowerfarm.com/tulip-bulbs) !

And they aren’t your ordinary, garden-variety tulips—our collection is carefully curated with some of our absolute favorites, including breathtaking double “peony” tulips and a few tried-and-true exotic parrot tulips.

All of our bulbs are size 12/14—the largest size available, which means bigger, more beautiful blooms and strong stems that are perfect for the cutting garden. Basically, they’re the tulips we want growing in our own fields—and now you can grow them in yours. 💕 Shop tulip bulbs (https://www.quietsideflowerfarm.com/tulip-bulbs) .

Please note: Our bulbs are not pre-chilled, therefore they are not suitable for planting in zones 8 and above.

Shipping and planting details:

Our goal is to have all orders placed by October 31st shipped by mid-November. And if life gets busy and you don’t get those bulbs planted right away, don’t panic. Tulip bulbs can be planted anytime the soil is still workable and hasn’t frozen. Here in zones 5b/6a, we’ve even planted as late as mid-December in recent years, and our tulips came back beautifully—and absolutely thrived.
