We wanted to take a moment to share a little update from Spelic’s Market & Meats.
As we continue to look for a buyer for the store, you’ve probably noticed a few changes recently. We changed our store hours, and at the end of September, our weekly ad will also be changing to a one page AD.
We know changes can be frustrating, especially when you’ve grown accustomed to things being a certain way. We completely understand that, and we want you to know that none of these decisions are being made without a lot of thought and consideration.
We are doing our best to find a balance that works for our employees, our customers, and our family.
Running a small town grocery store takes a lot of moving pieces behind the scenes, and sometimes that means making adjustments along the way. Shortening our ad or changing our hours doesn’t mean we care any less about serving our community. We’re still working hard to keep our shelves full, offer great products and specials, and provide a grocery store our community can count on.
We also want to take a moment to say how incredibly proud and grateful we are for our employees. They continue to show up, work hard, adapt when things change, and help us keep everything moving. We truly could not do this without them.
And to our customers who continue to walk through our doors and shop local, thank you!
We know changes aren’t always easy, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue figuring out what works best for everyone.
At the end of the day, we’re doing the best we can to take care of our employees, our customers, our family, and the store and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to support us along the way.
