American Blackbelly sheep: several registered rams and ewes available (1-1/2 to 7 years old). Several registerable lambs (5-6 months old) are also available, as well as some unregistered American Blackbelly and American Blackbelly/Katahdin crosses (5 months to 2 years old).

Tasty lamb burger two ways. One has a maple syrup, mayo and mustard sauce and caramelized balsamic onions, the other has a mayo, garlic and thyme sauce. Both on toasted English muffin with a side of roasted okra fresh from the garden…yummy!

Registered American Blackbelly breeding stock and Grassfed lamb, raised naturally on pasture without hormones or steroids. (Sheep do receive a minimal amount of processed feed or grain to maintain animal health, when needed, and for training.)
Blackbelly and Katahdin sheep are hair sheep with no wool, natural parasite resistance, and good mothering instincts. Very easy keepers. “Blackbelly meat is unsurpassed by other red meats, low in cholesterol but high in protein, making it a very healthful choice. Very mild flavored and very lean with no mutton taste, even in 2-year-old rams” (Barbados Blackbelly Sheep Association International, 2003).
