This is one of the tractors that pulls the mixer wagon to feed all the animals. It hauls several thousand pounds of feed a day. We feed the milk cows twice a day, and on average they eat over 50,000 pounds of feed daily. Then it still has to feed the heifers and dry cows. To say this tractor has it easy is an insult. It’s got right at 16,000 hours on it and is currently in the shop for some repairs. The clutch packs have started to act up, and the PTO clutches are showing some wear. We try to do as many repairs on the farm as possible to save on downtime.
