OCTOBER

I’m just over a week away from ankle surgery and wanted to post a reminder that I’ll likely be closed until at least sometime in November. I am praying there are no healing setbacks and that I’ll feel ready for orders in just a few weeks. If the timeline needs to shift, I’ll be sure to update you. Thank you for your grace and your understanding 🫶🏼

Wild to me… after a killer couple hours yesterday and despite the rain and shortened market today, I SOLD OUT! 🍎🍞🍪

Thank you, Sparta, for always supporting me! I did not let the threat of rain scare me away from baking my typical amount of bread and I’m shocked and humbled that it all found a home and is being enjoyed by SO. MANY. PEOPLE. Thank you thank you thank you!

Michigan Market Managers aka Market on the Ridge put on another killer market, as usual, and I’ll never take for granted how cool it is that I get to participate in all the Sparta markets!!!! I love where I live!!!

IT’S APPLE FESTIVAL WEEK!!! As usual, you’ll be able to find us and all of our sourdough goodies outside of Trini’s this Friday the 18th from 4-8 and Saturday the 19th from 11-7 🍎

Also a reminder that this is your LAST CHANCE to get any Rooted Sourdough Co. breads + bakes ahead of my closure for surgery in a couple of weeks. We will likely be closed all of October and will resume taking preorders sometime in November. I’m crossing my fingers for miraculous healing and to be able to open a menu sometime in October but I’m also trying to be realistic and keep long term healing at the forefront of my mind. And also the fact that I’ll be non weight bearing until almost Thanksgiving 🫠 we’ll see what happens! I appreciate your grace and understanding and prayers over me and our family in this upcoming season.

Also just as a reminder, this is the last ordering opportunity until November! I’m having ankle surgery on 10/1 and will be closed for a few weeks. Thanks for understanding!

SEPTEMBER 🍁🍂🍎

September starts another year of homeschooling my children and being part of our co-op. Our Mondays are booked solid and we have all sorts do fun fall things planned as a family. Beginning in September, I will have menus (+pop ups or markets!) twice a month! This will allow me to be more intentional with my time and energy, both for the bakery and for my family. I’m so grateful for those that have supported me and will continue to do so 🫶🏼
