Scrappy Joe says Come buy some eggs!

He came at me today for the first time. Naughty Scrappy Joe. Turned around to walk away and he thought he was tough stuff for a minute coming up behind me and bam - eye contact stopped him in his cute little tracks. Don’t be mean Scrappy Joe. No naughty roosters live here. 👀

Ya’ll think I was chicken obsessed before…

…then I got my first mottled.

Straight up, obsessed with this little guy. 😍. I keep calling it a he but I have no suspicions yet. Either way, it’s staying and know I have plans to make 53 of his babies because.. he/she’s off the charts SO cute.

This is my fridge storage 😍. Our daughter, Harper, re-stocked it for me last night for the weekend. She’s usually on washing/carton filling duty and has been taking over filling the stand, and our youngest Harley likes to tend to the chickens every night. We love to open the fridge and see the colors.

I will also keep some unwashed in a basket on my counter if I need more.

What do you use? Do you just keep them in the paper cartons? Do you have something cute? Show me!
