It was another fantastic day to show! While all of our girls did extremely well with placings at the top of their classes, GTB Farm IN MagikMoto decided to step up from her second place wins from two weeks ago (her first show ever!)
Today, while being the youngest in her class,she brought home 1st place junior yearling. She then went on to win junior reserve champion! The judge was very excited about her and said she can’t wait to see her in the future❤️

Today was a great day to show goats!

Our highlight from today was our newest doe, GTB Farm IN MagikMoto, pulling off 2nd place in ring one in the junior yearling class! She then battled for 1st in ring 2 and barely came up short to a really lovely doe! She is an October kid and we are so very proud of her! Thanks a million to our new goat friend Bailey Blacker for lending the helping hand and showing for us! She did a wonderful job!

In ring 2, Agapes Prize Gold Rimmed also did extremely well placing 3rd (once she figured out how to behave like a lady!)

Agape’s Prize Aron Presley is so consistent with what he throws. He is one of the longest bucks I have laid eyes on and his daughters are just as long! Although the line takes a little bit longer to mature, the wait is definitely worth it!!!

Last week we got the opportunity to visit our close goat neighbor, Atwood Acres! On the visit we got to see some really, really nice animals. I have admired CH CUatlilredbarn Frosted Elk (VEEE90) for a while now and was given the opportunity to bring her yearling daughter home with me…of course I couldn’t say no!

Minxy came home today and has already made sure we knew the way to her heart (food)!

On todays episode of some of my favorite udders in the barn to milk is Ms. Fancy! Last year as a FF she hit requirements for her milk star (and easily surpassed those requirement). She peaked at 4.5 lbs and she’s looking to beat those numbers this year with our first milk test next week!

The coloring of her udder makes it hard to see but her udder is one of the highest attachments in the barn and she fills all the way up. She also has easy to milk teats which I really appreciate as I prefer hand milking right now. So proud of little miss Fancy Pants!

After a LONG day one of the best things to come home to is a first freshener whose udder looks like this!!! Did I mention she’s not even a month fresh? This girls udder is absolutely GLUED on and she is killing it in the milk pail! I’m already looking forward to seeing her as a 2F next year.

Super happy with this sweet doe who has definitely earned her place in the herd and is putting her all into being an amazing dairy animal.

This girl is one that catches my eye every time I look in the baby pen❤️ she is SUPER long and stretchy. Not to mention an absolute sweet heart.

Her dam last year peaked at 4.5 lbs as a FF and this year she is an absolute milk machine at only 5 days fresh. She LOVES to milk and screams to be on the milk stand. She also outdid herself this year with not one but two absolutely stunning doelings!

Her sires dam is one of my absolute favorites in the breed! She placed 5th in her class last year at nationals and has an absolute drool worthy udder.
